A Fond Farewell!

To our True Cotton Company customers,

This is a good news/bad news message. First, let’s get the bad out of the way.

After nearly three years in business, I have decided to close True Cotton Company. It is simply the times we live in. You have many shopping options, and like some other small quilt shops in recent years, we do not see a bright future for our small store. The option of moving and starting over has been explored, but for us it’s just time.

That said, we have loved almost every minute of running a shop, meeting quilters and helping them along their creative journey. We have been fortunate to work well with other area quilt shop owners on the Indiana Quilters Trail Shop Hop. Thank you, sincerely, for welcoming us and supporting us as best you could.

Now for the good news. We are not going quietly! The shop is closed most of this week to prepare for a major sale starting Saturday, April 1. There will be serious savings for you. Much of our fabric will be packaged  in 1-, 2- and 3-yard cuts, with the discount increasing from 20 percent to single-yard bundles to 40 percent for 3-yard bundles.

All books will be discounted 30 percent, and all patterns 40 percent.

Also:

The shop hop coupons for $5 off a $20 purchase in April will of course be honored.

Any $10 store coupons you have earned here will be honored.

If you’ve managed to make a Quilt Bingo, you will get your one-day discount of 10 percent. April’s two numbers are XY and YZ.

Online shopping will continue for as long as it seems practical.

Finally, if you have a gift card, please come in and use it. Feel free to call the store if you have any concerns about it.

The shop should be open until mid-May, depending on how fast merchandise goes out the door. Going forward, we will be closed on Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Our hours will be 10-3 every day we’re open.

As always, thank you for supporting True Cotton Company. It has been an honor.

Sincerely,

Cindy Lazar
